Estuary View boasts beautiful natural surroundings unlike anywhere else in the country. As the development name references, the view across the neighbouring Gunners Park looks straight out onto the mouth of the River Thames at one of its widest points. A choice of local beaches can be reached within a short walk, with stunning coastline walks along the promenades a staple favourite pastime for the Shoeburyness community.

Gunners Park – just five minutes’ walk away – is an extensive section of green space preceding the coast with a number of leisure destinations. All connected by a network of pedestrian paths for walking, running, or cycling, the southern portion is a nature reserve, while the remainder contains a skatepark, tennis courts, a cricket pitch, and kids play area.

Shoeburyness has a great selection of amenities, including a leisure centre, Shoeburyness Park, and Thorpe Hall Golf Club – all within a five-minute drive.

Shoeburyness has a number of schooling options for children of all ages, which will be of encouragement to parents and young families at Estuary View.

Hinguar Community Primary School and Nursery is a 10-minute walk away from the development, with additional options including Richmond Avenue Primary School – a 16-minute walk away – and Thorpedene Primary School and Nursery – a three-minute drive away.

Shoeburyness High School is the nearest secondary school option at a mile away – close enough for independent journeys on foot, or just a four-minute drive away.

For higher education, South Essex College and the University of Essex have campus space four miles away in Southend.

Motorists will find the B1016 a minute away from New Barge Pier Road, which heads west along the coast as far as Chalkwell. The A127 is five miles from the development, reaching the London Orbital Motorway in an additional 20 miles.

Church Road bus stop is a six-minute walk away, delivering regular shuttles into Southend-on-Sea.

Shoeburyness train station is under a mile away and the easternmost terminus on the c2c train network. Trains operate from this station through to London Fenchurch Street in little over an hour, with major connecting stops along the way including Southend Central and Barking.

London Southend Airport is just a 15-minute drive away with a great choice of European destinations and more.

The coastline and beaches are well catered for by local businesses, and residents of Estuary View have a number of hospitality spots within walking distance – great for catching up with loved ones or popping out for a family meal. Uncle Tom’s Cabin ice cream shop, the Harvester Shorehouse, and Serendipity Café are all within a 10-minute stroll of home.

A little further into Shoeburyness reveals a terrific array of shopping and dining, catering for all of the needs of locals. A choice of popular supermarket names are a 10-minute walk away, and a collection of local retailers can be found half a mile away on West Road. Shoeburyness High Street offers a choice of dining, with traditional British menus – including award-winning fish and chips – plus Indian, Mexican, and Italian options.
