International Dog Day: celebrating our best friends
Every day is International Dog Day for those with a furry family member, but August 26th is the day the whole world comes together to celebrate.
Founded in 2004 by animal welfare advocate Colleen Paige, International Dog Day celebrates pooches of all breeds and raises awareness of the number of dogs that need to be rescued from shelters each year.
